Abdelhamed Mohamed

My Name is Abdelhamed Mohamed,

I graduated from University of Khartoum, with a BSc.(Honors) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Majoring in Power systems.

Currently, I'm a Research Assistant at the Department of Electrical Engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals  (KFUPM ), along with that I'm Pursuing my MSc. Studies in Electrical Power Engineering at KFUPM.

I have the membership of the highly well-known associatios:
IEEE and IET. In addition to that I'm a member at the student branches of these associatoins at KFUPM.

My research interests are :
Electrical Power Systems, Smart Grids, Power Systems Operation, Smart Cities,  & Renweable Energy.

Work Experience

Teacher Assistant 

Directly after my graduation from UofK, I was assigned by the Deprtment of Electrical and Electronics Engineering to work as Teacher Assistant, and my responsibilities were conducting tutorials along with teaching Power Labs to 3rd and 5th grad at the University. 

Contingency Engineer

I'v worked with the Sudanese Electricity Distribution Company Ltd. as Contingency Engineer. and I was responsible from the contingency conditions that happens the customers, and managing to fix them as fast as possible .

Research Assistant

This is my current job right now.

And Meanly I'm Responsible for teaching the undergraduate students some electrical labs, along with other managerial work at the Department of Electrical Engineering
