We are pleased to inform the INDIAN community at KFUPM that a volley ball tournament is being organized. It is an open tournament and gives chance for the entire community to participate. The main aim of the tournament is to bring together all the people to have enjoyment and fun. As a result of incredible response to the invitation, a total of 10 teams are taking part in this event.

The tournament is organized for 2 days starting from 26th April, Thursday to 27th April, Friday 2012. Thursday will be for league matches, (i.e. 45 League matches as per the schedule), among the 10 teams top four teams will be qualifying for semi finals on Friday. Winners of the semi finals will be playing the final.

The time of play during the tournament will be from 9:00 AM to 6.00 PM on Thursday and from 4.00pm onwards on Friday, and refreshments will be served in between. The entry fee for the player is 20 SR for RAs and 40 SR for non-RAs per head. With event right around the corner, now is the time to start making your preparations. To make the whole experience even more fun, we suggest you to go through the rules and regulation of the tournament, to have fair and friendly competition.

We request all the participants to please cooperate with us to make this event a grand success. We also look forward to the people not taking part in this tournament to cap off the two day event by spectating the tournament with all of the participants.
 

Dinner and Freshers Party: on 26^th April, 2012 Thursday at 7:00 PM (after Maghreb) in Student Community Center (near Bldg 820).

These 2 days of tournament is not just about scores, winners or losers. All those who attend, play, enjoy, learn and improve their volleyball skills and experience are WINNERS !!!
